Styling all the pretties!

One of the most fun parts of being a creative in the wedding industry is getting the chance to collaborate with other wedding pros to create beautiful concepts for styled shoots.

For those who don't know a styled shoot is when a group of wedding professionals get together to execute a concept, usually curated by a planner or photographer, this is a GREAT way for vendors to showcase new rentals, makeup techinques, or upcoming trends . Whenever I start envisioning a concept I start making vision boards with fabric samples and magazine cutouts, or create a Pinterest board that all vendors can access easily.

It's weird but after almost a year in the biz, I still get a little nervous approaching vendors to collab only to find that they are the absolute sweetest people and a joy to work with. These are people that I could easily call my friends if work and school would allow me five minutes for a social life lol. It has also helped me find the professionals I enjoy working with the most and I'm kinda building my dream team little by little.

Any person that you see me collaborate with is 100% recommended. These are people that are passionate about their work and about making their couple's weddings the best. During the next couple of months some of my styled shoots and real weddings will be published in blogs all over the country and the world! This is so exciting for me and it's one of the proudest moments in my career. I love what I do, but when someone else sees the value and love behind my craft and deems it worthy enough to showcase it for the world to see its amazing!

So be on the lookout for future blog posts about where these styled shoots will be published and show them some love!

Here I am, styling a flatlay at a styled shoot at 21C Museum Hotel in Bentonville AR. Covered in fur from the faux fur throw I used as a base. Aren't I so glamorous? LOL
